AT WORK

The aim of the First Aid at Work qualification is to enable individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required to deal with a range of first aid incidents.

This Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification is designed for people who may be responsible for managing First aid situations at work, enabling them to be workplace First Aider under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981

EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK

The Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is to enable an individual to act as an appointed person to take charge of the first aid arrangements, including looking after the equipment and facilities and calling the Emergency Medical Services when required.

This qualification is for individuals who have a specific responsibility at work to deliver basic first aid to individuals in a range of emergency first aid situations whilst awaiting qualified medical assistance.

PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID 

The paediatric first aid qualification aims to enable learners who work or intend to work in a childcare setting, with the skills, knowledge, understanding and ability to deal with emergency situations.

The content of this qualification is essential for those who are responsible for children in their care including nursery nurses, pre-school teachers, teaching assistants and student teachers.

SPECIALIST TRAINING

Automated External Defibrillator & CPR

This qualification is suitable for individuals aged 16 and above in a wide variety of industries and employment situations who work within a building where an AED is present. 

This course is also suitable for individuals who wish to learn an essential lifesaving skill for personal interest and development.

Administering an Auto-injector & Basic Life Support

The qualification is designed for people within the workplace, at home or in a voluntary setting who may come into contact with someone who suffers from anaphylatic shock.

The basic life support elements of the qualification enables learners to deliver CPR to casualties in an emergency situation.
